What’s This TV Show About?

An NBC action drama, Chicago Fire stars Jesse Spencer, Taylor Kinney, Eamonn Walker, David Eigenberg, Joe Minoso, Yuri Sardarov, Christian Stolte, Kara Killmer, Miranda Rae Mayo, and Annie Illonzeh. The series follows the personal lives and work lives of the Chicago paramedics and firefighters working on Engine 51, Truck 81, Ambulance, and Battalion 25. No occupation is more stressful or dangerous, yet so rewarding and exhilarating. These courageous men and women forge headfirst into danger when everyone else is running the other way. As part of the Chicago franchise, this series also features crossovers with Chicago Med and Chicago PD.
 

Season Seven Ratings

Will NBC cancel or renew Chicago Fire for season eight? Although the ratings have dropped over the years, this show is the foundation of the franchise, so I would expect good advance notice when the end is nigh, rather than a cancellation in the classic sense.
