Chicago Fire will lose another series regular when new episodes begin airing in January. Deadline has reported that actor Alberto Rosende will leave the First Responder drama in the season 12 premiere. Rosende joined the NBC series as a regular in 2019 after recurring on the drama series.
Rosende plays Firefighter Blake Gallo. The character joined Firehouse 51 as a candidate who frustrated everyone but later become a valuable team member. Gallo wanted to became a firefighter after losing his entire family in a house fire.
When the show returns, Rosende will not be the only cast departure on Chicago Fire. Viewers will also see Kara Kilmer, who plays Sylvie Brett, leave the show. Her departure was announced in November.
Chicago Fire returns to NBC for its 12th season on January 17th.
