Crashing: Renewed for Season Three on HBO

Crashing TV show on HBO: season 3 renewal (canceled or renewed?)

(Peter Kramer / HBO)

It look like Pete has a home of his own — on premium cable, at least. HBO has renewed its Crashing TV show for a third season. The early renewal comes after six episodes of the eight-episode second season have aired.

An HBO comedy, Crashing stars creator Pete Holmes in a semi-autobiographical role, with Dave Attell, Dov Davidoff, and Artie Lange playing versions of themselves. Also starring are Lauren Lapkus as Pete’s ex-wife, Jessica, and George Basil as Leif, her former lover. Jamie Lee recurs as Ali Reissen. The series follows Pete (Holmes), who dives into the cutthroat NYC comedy scene, after his marriage falls apart.
