How is the end of Abby’s story playing out during the fifth and final season of the Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce TV show on Bravo? As we know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce is cancelled or renewed for season six. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households.
Because of that, many viewers are frustrated their viewing habits and opinions weren’t considered, before Bravo decided to end (ie cancelled) Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce after its fifth season. Self-help guru Abby McCarthy (Edelstein) shocked the world when she separated from her husband, and her career took a dive, so she went in a new direction. In the fifth and final season, as the gang moves forward, they still find their lives are intertwined with those of their exes.
