How does life treat Margaret and Helen Schlegel during the first season of the Howards End TV show on Starz? While the unconventional Margaret negotiates her relationship with traditionalist Henry Wilcox (Macfadyen), husband of her late friend, Ruth (Ormond), the impetuous Helen sets out to help a young bank clerk, Leonard Bast (Quinn), who has powerful aspirations well beyond his station. The drama unfolds in London and at the Wilcox family’s country home — Howards End.
