Life in Pieces: Full Season Order for CBS Sitcom

Life in Pieces TV show on CBS: canceled or renewed?So far, it’s been a mixed season for new comedies. NBC’s Truth Be Told had its episode order cut today (and will likely be cancelled) while ABC’s Dr. Ken was given a full season order earlier this month. Now, CBS’ Life in Pieces has been given a full season order as well. It’s been doing well for the network on Monday nights and next week, it moves to Thursdays.

CBS GIVES FULL SEASON ORDER TO “LIFE IN PIECES”

“Life In Pieces” is the Season’s #1 New Comedy

CBS has given a full-season, 22 episode order to LIFE IN PIECES, television’s #1 new comedy.

“LIFE IN PIECES, with one of the best ensemble casts on television, is telling terrific stories in a very unique way, and we’re excited to tell many more of them this season,” said Glenn Geller, President, CBS Entertainment.

LIFE IN PIECES is the season’s #1 new comedy in viewers (10.26 million), and in adults 25-54 (3.5/09). In its most recent broadcast on Oct. 19, LIFE IN PIECES delivered its highest live plus same day adult 18-49 rating since its series premiere.*

On Nov. 5, LIFE IN PIECES moves to it new regular time period on Thursdays (8:31-9:01 PM, ET/PT) as part the Network’s launch of entertainment programming on the night.

Dianne Wiest, James Brolin, Zoe Lister-Jones, Colin Hanks, Angelique Cabral, Thomas Sadoski, Betsy Brandt, Dan Bakkedahl, Niall Cunningham, Holly J. Barrett and Giselle Eisenberg star in LIFE IN PIECES. Justin Adler, Aaron Kaplan, Jason Winer and Jeff Morton are executive producers for 20th Century Fox Television in association with Kapital Entertainment.
