Manifest recently ended its run and finished the story of the survivors of Flight 828. One cast member has been very open about the characters’ journeys and how the Netflix show ended. Series star Josh Dallas previously spoke about a scene that viewers didn’t see in the finale and recently talked about how he was very affected by reading the last script.

Starring Dallas, Melissa Roxburgh, J.R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Parveen Kaur, Matt Long, Holly Taylor, Daryl Edwards, and Ty Doran, the Netflix series follows the passengers of a flight that goes missing and then mysteriously returns five years later.

Dallas said the following about the table read and filming for the Manifest finale, per People:

“I was super excited to get that last script and read it, and [felt] sad all at the same time. There was a lot of different emotions happening all at once. I was a mess. I was crying through the whole thing. Not only was I emotional about what was going on in the scenes with the characters and saying goodbye to them, but saying goodbye to my fellow castmates and crew. Those things are always super bittersweet, especially when you’re with a group of people that you love and respect.”

Though the last episodes wrapped up the series, the Manifest finale did leave the door open for the characters to return someday. The show has been top-rated on Netflix so a reunion down the road seems a distinct possibility.
