Do you watch Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD? The ABC TV show is nearing the end of its fourth season, but its ratings are at an all-time low. Do you think the series should be renewed for a fifth season? Would you keep watching?
Part of the Marvel Comics universe, the drama centers on Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and his team as they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. The cast also includes Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton, Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker, and Elizabeth Henstridge.
Season three of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD earned poor ratings, but ABC renewed the series anyway. Now, season four is doing even worse. Currently, the season is averaging a .75 rating in the 18-49 demo and 2.383 million viewers, making it one of the network’s lowest-rated and least-watched TV shows for the 2016-2017 season.
However, despite the low ratings, Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD is lucrative for Marvel and helps promote the brand. Deadline says the show is likely to be renewed.
