The CW announces the Masters of Illusion TV series is returning for what the network is calling its “third cycle,” Friday, May 20, 2016, at 8:00pm ET/PT. Dean Cain returns as host. Because the series moved a few times, before landing on The CW, the season numbering is a bit nebulous. We count the new batch of episodes as season six.
Masters of Illusion hails from Associated Television International. David McKenzie, Gay Blackstone, David Martin, and Al Schwartz executive produce. Justin Pierce and Jim Romanovich co-executive produce.

The third cycle of MASTERS OF ILLUSION premieres with back-to-back new episodes Friday, May 20 (8-8:30pm ET/PT and 8:30-9:00pm ET/PT), followed by the season finale of THE ORIGINALS (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT).
Hosted by actor Dean Cain (“Supergirl,” “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman“), MASTERS OF ILLUSION features amazing magic performed by cutting-edge illusionists and escape artists, and performers in each episode displaying skills ranging from perplexing interactive mind magic to hilarious comedy routines. Live audience members and viewers at home will be baffled by the astounding skills of these modern illusionists. Masters of Illusion is from Associated Television International with executive producers David McKenzie (“The 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” “Marie”), Gay Blackstone (“The World Magic Awards” 2007-2009), David Martin (“The World Magic Awards” 2007-2009, “Marie”) and Al Schwartz (“The 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” “The Golden Globe Awards” 2013 and 2014, “The Gulf is Back”), along with co-executive producers Justin Pierce (“The Rocky Saga: Going The Distance”) and Jim Romanovich (“The 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” “Marie”).
