The Dunphy family isn’t down in the dumps. ABC announces it has renewed its hit Modern Family TV series for an eighth season. This is one of 15 renewals from the Alphabet Network, for the upcoming 2016-17 television season.
A mockumentary style sitcom, the Modern Family cast includes: Ed O’Neill, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Sofia Vergara, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, Sarah Hyland, Nolan Gould, Ariel Winter, Rico Rodriguez, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, and Jeremy Maguire.

“Modern Family” is produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television in association with Steven Levitan Prods and Picador Productions. Steven Levitan and Christopher Lloyd are co-creators/executive producers. Danny Zuker, Paul Corrigan, Brad Walsh, Abraham Higginbotham, Jeffrey Richman, Elaine Ko, Stephen Lloyd and Jeff Morton also serve as executive producers.
ABC has also renewed: America’s Funniest Home Videos, The Bachelor, Black-ish, Dancing with the Stars, Fresh Off the Boat, The Goldbergs, Grey’s Anatomy, How to Get Away with Murder, Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, The Middle, Once Upon a Time, Scandal, Shark Tank, and Quantico.
