NBC Ratings Race: Revolution Hits Series Low; In Danger?

Revolution TV show ratingsThis week’s episode of Revolution hit a new series low in the ratings. Fortunately for fans of the show, the TV series is still not in danger of being cancelled. As you can see below, it’s still the highest-rated scripted show on the network by a longshot.

Revolution viewers should certainly be concerned if this becomes a trend. The TV graveyard is littered with serial mystery series that didn’t make it to a second season.

What do you think? Are you concerned with Revolution’s ratings drop? Do you think it’ll end up seeing a second season?

Network advertisers typically prize those viewers most and so will pay more to reach them. There’s lots of information that the networks take into consideration when cancelling or renewing a TV series but the ratings are the biggest factor. The higher the ratings, the better chance that the show will be renewed. And yes, they take it into account when a show airs on a Friday or Saturday night.
