NBC TV Show Ratings for 2010-11 Season [as of 4/28/11]

OfficeThe peacock network had a great premiere with their new reality series called The Voice. NBC really needs a hit and this could be it. It’ll be interesting to see how well it does in week to.

Steve Carell’s departure from The Office brought good numbers but not as high as one might have expected. Several episodes from this season have attracted better ones. Are audiences losing interest in NBC’s top-rated scripted series?

The Event was up but that’s not likely to save it. Chase returned on Saturdays and was understandably way down.

Which NBC TV shows will be cancelled or renewed depend mostly on the series’s ratings, particularly the 18-49 demographic. Before we get to the season-to-date averages, here are the winners and losers from April 22nd through April 28th — based on the coveted demo, as measured against the last original episode.

Week-to-Week Winners: Celebrity Apprentice 3.0/8 (+15.4%), The Event 1.3/3 (+18.2%), Law & Order: Los Angeles 1.3/3 (+18.2%), The Biggest Loser 2.6/8 (+13.0%), and The Office 4.2/11 (+27.3%).

No change: Friday Night Lights 0.9/3, America’s Next Great Restaurant 1.2/4, The Voice 5.1/13 (new), and Community 1.4/4.

Week-to-Week Losers: Dateline 1.3/4 (Fri, -7.1%), Chase 0.6/2 (-50.0%), Dateline 0.8/3 (Sun, -11.1%), Parks and Recreation 2.3/6 (-4.2%), and 30 Rock 1.9/5 (-13.6%).

Below is a list of the regular NBC TV shows and their 2010-11 season average ratings to date. It only incorporates the ratings for original episodes and not repeats. The data is sorted by the all-important 18-49 demographic averages. The closer a show is to the bottom, the more likely it is to be cancelled. Fridays and Saturdays are the least-watched nights of TV so those shows get lower numbers.
