NCIS: New Orleans: Season Four Renewal for Scott Bakula & Company

NCIS: New Orleans TV show on CBS: season 4It’s not Mardi Gras but there’s some celebrating for NCIS: New Orleans. CBS has renewed the crime drama for a fourth season for 2017-18.

NCIS: New Orleans revolves around the local field office in New Orleans, investigating criminal cases that affect military personnel. Special Agent Dwayne Pride (Scott Bakula) leads the team. The rest of the cast includes CCH Pounder, Daryl Chill Mitchell, Lucas Black, Rob Kerkovich, Shalita Grant, and Vanessa Ferlito.

Season three has been averaging a 1.22 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 9.70 million viewers. When compared to season two, that’s down by 31% in the demo and down by 25% in viewership.

To be fair, a decline was to be expected with the series moving to a later timeslot. With a fourth season, there will be enough episodes for a good-sized syndication package.

CBS has also renewed NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles for the 2017-18 season.

What do you think? Do you like the NCIS: New Orleans TV show? Are you glad that this CBS series will return for a fourth season?
