How many more tomorrows will there be for No Tomorrow? Last night, the 10th episode of the first season ran on The CW. Let’s take a look at the fantastical romantic comedy series and its ratings. After considering the premise, cast, and No Tomorrow‘s Nielsen numbers, take our poll. Should The CW cancel or renew its No Tomorrow TV show for season two?
No Tomorrow stars Tori Anderson as the organized Evie. She gains a new perspective on life and the world, after meeting Xavier (Joshua Sasse), a free spirit. He lives life to its fullest, because he is convinced an asteroid will destroy the world in a matter of months. Evie doesn’t know if Xavier is crazy. That said, she is not sure it matters. The No Tomorrow TV series cast also includes Jesse Rath, Amy Pietz, Jonathan Langdon, and Sarayu Blue.
No Tomorrow Season One Ratings
No Tomorrow, season one, premiered on The CW on October 4, 2016, following the season three premiere of the popular superhero action drama, The Flash. The series premiere drew a 0.48 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a total of 1.54 million viewers. Episode 1.02, on October 11th, dropped 47.92%, earning a mere 0.25 rating in the demo with only about 741,00 viewers tuning in.
The rest of the season has garnered numbers in that general neighborhood. While last night’s episode 1.10 racked up a paltry 0.20 with around 600,000 viewers (in the Fast Affiliate ratings), as of now the season averages are 0.29 and about 854,000, respectively (Live + Same Day).
When sorted by either its demo ratings or average total audience size, No Tomorrow ranks ninth out of The CW’s 11 scripted shows we’re tracking.
EP Corinne Brinkerhoff reportedly has plans for a second season and more. Still, man plans. The TV gods laugh.
At this point, it seems highly unlikely that No Tomorrow will get a season two renewal. Still, it’s not the network’s lowest rated show and The CW doesn’t base its decisions solely on ratings.
What’s more, No Tomorrow falls right below the freshman drama series, Frequency, which gets similar numbers and is likely more expensive to produce.
