Now Apocalypse: Season One Ratings

Now Apocalypse TV show on Starz: season 1 ratings (canceled or renewed season 2?)

Since subscribers pay for Starz, the cable network doesn’t have to worry about Nielsen ratings, which is probably a good thing. Still, it wants to provide programming to keep those subscribers and attract new ones, so a show’s popularity does matter. Its best performer, Power,  is getting a little long in the tooth, and the network needs a new hit. Enter the Now Apocalypse TV show. Is it “out of this world” in a good way or a bad way? Will Now Apocalypse be cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned. *Status update below.

A surreal Starz comedy, Now Apocalypse stars Avan Jogia, Kelli Berglund, Beau Mirchoff, and Roxanne Mesquida. The story centers on Ulysses (Jogia) and friends Carly (Berglund), Ford (Mirchoff), and Severine (Mesquida). In one way or another, each of them is in pursuit of fame, love, and sex, as they to make their way in Los Angeles. Amidst all of their romantic pursuits, Uly starts to have dreams which strike him as premonitions that something dark and dangerous is really going on — or maybe he’s just smoking too much pot.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.
