While it is healthy to take each day as it comes, you have to think of the future. To that end, Netflix has renewed its One Day at a Time TV show reboot for a third season, with a start date TBD. Fans had been concerned the comedy would be cancelled. Back in February, co-creator Gloria Calderón Kellett even asked for help in getting the Netflix TV show renewed. Now, it’s finally happened. A Netflix family sitcom, One Day at a Time stars Justina Machado, Rita Moreno, Isabella Gomez, Marcel Ruiz, Todd Grinnell, Stephen Tobolowsky, Eric Nenninger, and Ed Quinn. This series is a reboot of the CBS Norman Lear original, starring Bonnie Franklin, Valerie Bertinelli, MacKenzie Philips, and Pat Harrington, Jr., which ran from 1975 to 1984. In the new version, the story follows Cuban-American US Army vet, Penelope Riera Alverez (Machado) and her family.
