ABC is changing its summer schedule by shifting time slots and switching nights of some shows, per Deadline.
On Monday nights, starting next week, The Bachelorette will shift from 9PM to 8PM and Claim to Fame will move to 10PM, the reality shows’ timeslots last fall. Bachelorette has seen a big drop in the ratings this summer, so the network is likely hoping that this time change will help. Meanwhile, Claim to Fame is up by 30% in viewers, at least in part due to the earlier timeslot. You can expect that show’s ratings to fall.
The Prank Panel is moving from Sundays to Thursday nights starting July 27th, taking over for The Chase which wraps its third season this week. On its new night, Prank Panel will air at 8PM while Generation Gap will shift to 9PM.
Back on Sundays, starting on July 30th, Celebrity Family Feud and The $100,000 Pyramid will both move up an hour, airing at 8PM and 9PM, respectively. Reruns will fill the 10PM hour, at least for the immediate future.
