How well is Ray’s fresh start working out during the sixth season of the Ray Donovan TV show on Showtime? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Ray Donovan is cancelled or renewed for season seven. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. A Showtime crime drama, Ray Donovan stars Liev Schreiber, Jon Voight, Susan Sarandon, Domenick Lombardozzi, Lola Glaudini, Eddie Marsan, Dash Mihok, Katherine Moennig, Pooch Hall, Kerris Dorsey, Devon Bagby, and Graham Rogers. The series centers on professional fixer Ray Donovan (Schreiber), who’s now rebuilding his life in New York City. Mac (Lombardozzi), a cop, brings Ray into the Staten Island Police Department. While delving into that brotherhood and its corruption, Ray again winds up working for media mogul Samantha Winslow (Sarandon). Since Sam has teamed up with New York City mayoral candidate Anita Novak (Glaudini), that connection creates conflict for Ray with the Staten Island PD.
