On Scandal, Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) defends the public images of the most powerful people in Washington but now it’s her own image that needs protecting. This season, the cast also includes Scott Foley, Tony Goldwyn, Darby Stanchfield, Katie Lowes, Guillermo Diaz, Cornelius Smith Jr., Jeff Perry, Portia de Rossi, Joshua Malina, and Bellamy Young.
The current season of Scandal is averaging a 2.37 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 7.92 million viewers. That’s down 14-18% year-to-year but the show remains one of the network’s top-rated shows.
ABC has also renewed: America’s Funniest Home Videos, The Bachelor, Black-ish, Dancing with the Stars, Fresh Off the Boat, The Goldbergs, Grey’s Anatomy, How to Get Away with Murder, Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, The Middle, Modern Family, Once Upon a Time, Shark Tank, and Quantico.
