The Red Line: CBS Greenlights ‘Mistaken’ Shooting Drama from Supergirl Team & Ava DuVernay

The Red Line TV show on CBS: canceled or renewed?

The Tiffany Network is getting topical. CBS has ordered The Red Line TV show to series. The drama comes from creators and co-executive producers Supergirl vet Caitlin Parrish and newcomer Erica Weiss. Supergirl EPs Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter are executive producing The Red Line with Ava DuVernay.

A CBS drama, The Red Line stars Noah Wyle, Emayatzy Corinealdi, Aliyah Royale, Noel Fisher, Michael Patrick Thornton, Vinny Chhibber, Howard Charles, and Elizabeth Laidlaw. The series examines one event — a white cops mistaken shooting of a black doctor — from three perspectives.
