Deadline reports The CW has renewed the Vixen TV series for a second season on CW Seed, the network’s streaming platform.
This animated spin-off of The Flash and Arrow is based on the DC Comics character of the same name. Vixen features Mari McCabe (voice: Megalyn Echikunwoke), who can can harness the abilities of animals, because of her family’s Tantu totem.
Echikunwoke is set to appear in the live-action version of the Vixen role on Arrow, in the episode slated to air February 24.
