What’s This TV Show About?
Streaming on the Netflix paid subscription platform, Fuller House stars Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, Michael Campion, Elias Harger, Soni Nicole Bringas, John Brotherton, Ashley Liao, Juan Pablo di Pace, Scott Weinger, Adam Hagenbuch, Dashiell Messitt, and Fox Messitt. John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Bob Saget, and Lori Loughlin recur. A sequel to Full House, which ran for eight seasons and 192 episodes on ABC, this family sitcom centers on widowed mother and veterinarian, D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Cameron Bure) and her three sons; her sister Stephanie Tanner (Sweetin); friend Kimmy Gibbler (Barber) and her daughter. Season three dropped on September 22nd — the 30th anniversary of the original series.
On January 29, 2018, Netflix confirmed Fuller House is renewed for a fourth season, with a 2018 start date TBD. Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Unless Netflix decides to publicize its viewership, it is hard to predict if they’ll cancel or renew Fuller House for season four, because Nielsen doesn’t tracking the ratings of streaming TV shows. Flying blind, I think it will get a renewal. Netflix picked up season three on Christmas Eve, last year. By early January, the streaming service upped its order from the customary 13 to 18 episodes, which shows they have some faith in it. In the meantime, I’ll keep a hungry out out for breaking developments. Subscribe for free updates on any Fuller House cancellation or renewal news.
