An episodic anthology series, Lore is narrated by creator Aaron Mahnke. Based on his podcast of the same name, each episode of Lore explores the folklore behind modern-day horror stories. The season two cast includes Josh Bowman, Doug Bradley, Thomas Kretschmann, Paula Malcomson, Maimie McCoy, Jürgen Prochnow, Emmett Scanlan, and Alicia Witt.
The first season of six episodes was released in October 2017. Lore was then renewed for a second season in February 2018 and those six installments were released in October 2018. Today, at the TCA summer press tour, it was confirmed that there won’t be a third season.
