What’s This TV Show About?

Streaming on the Amazon Prime Video paid subscription platform, The Man in the High Castle stars Alexa Davalos, Luke Kleintank, Rupert Evans, Cary-Hiroyuki Tarawa, Joel De La Fuente, Rufus Sewell, Michael Gaston, Jason O’Mara, and DJ Qualls. An adaptation of Philip K. Dick’s alternate history novel, this dystopian TV series drama, set in 1962, unfolds in a world in which the Axis powers had won World War II.
 

 

Telly’s Take

Unless they decide to publicize viewership, it is usually difficult to predict whether Amazon will cancel or renew TV shows, but in the case of The Man in the High Castle, they renewed it for season four, prior to the third season premiere. The advance renewal seems a little unusual. No one has said it is for a final season, but no one has  said it is not.
