NCIS: Los Angeles, Supergirl, Legends: Tonight’s Episodes Pulled

Supergirl TV show on CBSOut of sensitivity to the deadly attacks on Paris, CBS has decided to pull the episodes of Supergirl and NCIS: Los Angeles, which were originally scheduled for tonight, and air different, new episodes, in their place. Similarly, TNT is postponing tonight’s episode of Legends.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, in the pulled Supergirl episode “How Does She Do It,” Supergirl Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist) protects National City from bombings. In its place, CBS will now air the “Livewire” episode, which THR says, “…revolve[s] around Danver’s relationship with her foster mother played by Helen Slater.”

The NCIS: Los Angeles episode, “Defectors” features ISIS’ recruitment of women. In its place, CBS will air the episode “The Long Goodbye,” which THR says, “follows the team as they find a missing woman that LL Cool J’s character led to asylum four years ago in the U.S.”

TNT announced it will postpone tonight’s episode of Sean Bean series, Legends. Here’s their statement, also via THR: “‘As a result of the recent tragic events in Paris, tonight’s originally scheduled episode of Legends has been postponed. Our thoughts and condolences are with the victims and their families’.”

In the episode in question, “The Legend of Curtis Ballard,” Martin (Sean Bean) was to search for Kate in Paris, where he thought a peaceful protest might turn violent.

The postponement is the latest TV-related delay following content that shared similarities with the attacks.
