Tuesday TV Show Ratings: Vegas, Go On, New Normal, Hart of Dixie, Parenthood, New Girl, NCIS

Tuesday, October 9, 2012 ratings — Last night’s originals were NCIS, The Voice, Raising Hope, Dancing with the Stars, Ben and Kate, NCIS: Los Angeles, Go On, New Girl, The Mindy Project, The New Normal, Vegas, Parenthood, and Private Practice. In addition to Hart of Dixie, The CW ran the 2008 web musical, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog.

On NBC, The Voice won the night in the prized 18-49 demographic with a 4.4 rating (+5% episode-to-episodes) and 11.93 million viewers.

Last week, NBC’s Tuesday scripted shows took a big hit when the network aired a recap installment of The Voice. This week, they bounced back. Go On rose 33% to a 2.8 rating with 6.95 million. The New Normal drew a 2.0 rating (+18%) and 4.96 million. Parenthood garnered a 2.0 rating (+25%) with 4.99 million viewers.

On CBS, NCIS once again had the most viewers. It registered a 3.3 rating (-11%) with 18.09 million viewers. NCIS: Los Angeles followed with a 2.9 rating (-6%) and 15.1 million. Vegas held steady with a 2.0 rating and 11.78 million viewers.

On ABC, the clip show of Dancing with the Stars drew a 1.2 rating with 8.24 million. It was followed by the results show which garnered a 2.1 rating (0% week-to-week change) and 13.18 million. Private Practice finished the night with a 1.6 rating (0% change) and 6.05 million viewers.

On FOX, we had two hours of sitcoms — Raising Hope with a 1.8 rating (+6%) and 4.11 million; Ben and Kate with a 1.5 rating (-6%) and 3.33 million; New Girl with a 2.7 rating (-4% change) and 4.99 million; and The Mindy Project with a 1.9 rating (0% change) and 3.57 million.

On The CW, Hart of Dixie saw a huge 43% drop in the demo to a 0.4 rating with 1.2 million. It was followed by the television premiere of Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. That drew a 0.2 rating with 0.57 million viewers.
