NBC is sticking with Chicago Med. Today, the network announced they’ve renewed the TV show for a fourth season.
The medical drama follows the doctors, nurses, and staff of the state of the art Gaffney Chicago Medical Center. The cast includes Nick Gehlfuss, Torrey DeVitto, Colin Donnell, Norma Kuhling, Oliver Platt, Rachel DiPillo, Brian Tee, S. Epatha Merkerson, Yaya DaCosta, Marlyne Barrett, and Norma Kuhling.
Instead of issuing a press release, NBC announced the Chicago Med season seven renewal in the following tweet.

A Look at the Ratings:
Not only is Chicago Med one of NBC‘s highest-rated TV shows, but ratings have actually increased this season. Currently, season three is averaging a 1.23 rating in the 18-49 demo and 6.67 million viewers.
For comparison, season two averaged a 1.24 rating in the 18-49 demo and 6.663 million viewers.
Tonight, NBC also announced it had renewed Chicago PD for season six and Chicago Fire for season seven.
