Necessary Roughness, The Killing, Suburgatory: TV Series Finale Podcast #57

TV Series Finale podcast 57Sad news for Necessary Roughness on USA and The Killing has been revived yet again — but not by AMC. There will be even more episodes of Awkward on MTV next year and the voice cast of Family Guy will be back next fall.

Almost Human got off to a solid start but the second night’s numbers are cause for concern. Starz has announced a launch date for Black Sails and TNT is bringing back Dallas for half a season starting in February.

Syfy’s Face Off competition returns in early 2014 as will The Bachelor and The Taste on ABC. In addition, the alphabet network is trying something new for next summer — a singing competition called Rising Star. Meanwhile, Hulu has picked up a second season of Behind the Mask.

Once Back in the Game finishes its run (the show has been cancelled), Suburgatory will return to ABC. In February, Super Fun Night will be replaced by a new sitcom, Mixology.

Over on FX, they’ve ordered a new vampire drama called The Strain. ABC will launch their spy series The Assets in January. Also on the network, Killer Women and Mind Games are slated for Tuesdays at 10pm.

Another drama, Resurrection, is coming on Sunday, March 9th. Revenge will shift to 10pm and this means bad news for current occupant Betrayal.

You can check out how the current TV shows are doing on the five networks — ABC, CBS, The CW, FOX, and NBC. Tune in!
