While it is not a legendary buy, The CW has ordered additional episodes for the second season of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow TV show. According to THR, the network has bumped up its season two order from 13 to 17 episodes.

Along with The Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow is one of The CW’s four DC Comics adaptation series. Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Franz Drameh, Amy Pemberton, and Dominic Purcell star.

According to the report, Legends of Tomorrow does not garner the kind of ratings its sister-series do. Still, it is “more than doubling” the ratings of The CW’s new shows, Frequency and No Tomorrow.

Currently, we are tracking the ratings of The CW’s ten scripted shows. As of November 9th, Legends of Tomorrow was earning the network’s 5th highest ratings, behind The Flash, Supergirl, Supernatural and Arrow.
