Star-Crossed: Season One Ratings

Star-Crossed ratings: cancel or keep? The CW has been having some ratings success this season but Monday nights continue to be a struggle with underperforming shows like Beauty and the Beast and Hart of Dixie. Will Star-Crossed change that? Will it be renewed for a second season or, will it be cancelled instead? Stay tuned to find out!

Star-Crossed revolves around a pair of teens — one human (Aimee Teegarden) and one alien (Matt Lanter) — who fall in love and struggle to overcome the discrimination and distrust around them. The rest of the cast includes Grey Damon, Natalie Hall, Malese Jow, Titus Makin Jr., Chelsea Gilligan, Brina Palencia, and Greg Finley.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

Final season averages: 0.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 960,000 total viewers.

These are the final national numbers (unless noted with an “*”). These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

I found this show on Netflix and fell in love with it. I completely agree that another station or Netflix, hulu or something should pick it up. I will recommend this show to everyone. Totally bummed it got canceled.

My husband and I got hooked on this and hated the very last episode making it end in that manner. Too many questions left hanging. I know that the writers wanted more episodes for this show can you please shop it around and maybe go to netflix or something to finish the series the way that you wanted it to end.
