Glenn wrote: I love the quality of the writing. Great character development and humility. I get a good laugh out of each episode as well as a message about life. My only negative comment would be important story lines are opened up but left with unsatisfactory conclusions or no conclusion at all. Least favorite episode is the one where her son wants to be a Dance choreographer and at the end he is left to forget about it and must be ome a doctor. I did not like the conclusion. A friend of mine is a professional dance choreographer and… Read more »
Glenn, I saw the conclusion of that story a bit different from you. My understanding was that Abishola told her son he could pursue dancing as a minor to being a doctor and when he completes both degrees they would then have a long “talk”. You did notice the subtle smile on her face as she watched her son dance with the group.
Love this show. We need more comedy shows like this these days. All the characters are really funny. Hope this doesn’t get cancelled.
The show is very entertaining. Please keep on air–THANK-YOU
I absolutely LOVE Bob Hearts Abishola!! It is funny and sweet at the same time. It cheers me up and makes me laugh. Please keep this wonderful and uplifting show on the air! Thank you very much for a quality program.
This show is pure social engineering an should be eliminated. There are other mixed race shows on TV that are much better and funnier.
Name one on CBS.
I really enjoy this show. Its up to date with the topics, but its also funny one-liners and touching easy going emotions. The actors are well suited and the laughs come easily.
I do enjoy Bob ❤️ Abishola! It’s the only sitcom I watch. I wish there were more new episodes.
Very good show – Billy Gardell is a great character actor . Please renew series
Thank you to the actor Gina(sorry no last name)who plays Kemi. Every time she says anything I laugh out loud and when she was at the dinner with the pharmacist on the show tonight and we heard what she’s thinking to herself, it was hilarious I even laughed later during the commercial thinking back about it that’s comedy.
She is a very gifted comic and believe she is a credited writer producer or creator of the show. Her atand is hilarious
I do enjoy Bob ❤️ Abishola! It’s the only sitcom I watch. I wish there were more new episodes. Great chemistry and intelligent writing. Please keep it coming.
I looked forward to this show and I haven’t been disappointed. I wish there were more new episodes. Love the chemistry of the characters and the intelligent writing. Please keep it going. It’s the only sitcom I watch.
A sweet, smart showing for thinking adults, a comedy with social intelligence. The only show I watch on television.
Best show in a long time. Enjoyable and I even find myself looking up information on Nigeria. Please don’t cancel!
I’m so surprised that this show is being held in limbo. I haven’t talked to anyone who doesn’t love this show. I, myself, learned about it mid-season, so I’m thinning that maybe the ratings were low at first because purple just didn’t know about it. I am truly hoping this show does not get cancelled. It’s one of the fee shows on tv that are enjoyable to watch.
Elaine, I think I know how you feel. Had meant to watch this show in the Fall and forgot about it. Caught up with it Christmas night when the pilot was re-aired. Omigosh, the episode knocked my socks off and immediately purchased the 1st season’s episodes on Amazon. Binge watched the episodes up to the present and each new episode is added automatically. It’s great to be able to watch whatever episode I want at any given time.
I love this show. It is laugh out loud funny
You’re so right–this show can be laugh out loud funny. Had to pause the recording when uncle and auntie came into Bob’s home (after Bob pleaded) with Dottie humming “Dance of the Cuckoos” (also known as the Laurel and Hardy Theme) with her adding accented audio effects as they sat down on the couch. Had to finish that laugh before continuing with the episode. Can’t help but wish Abishola had heard the conversation regarding Auntie Olu having sex before marriage! Uncle Tunde in his innocent way exposed her hypocrisy which again had me laughing out loud. That may have lighten… Read more »
