School’s out for Bad Teacher — even earlier than expected. CBS has decided to pull their cancelled comedy from the schedule effective immediately.
On Bad Teacher, a former trophy wife (Ari Graynor) masquerades as a teacher in order to find a new man to marry. The rest of the cast includes Kristin Davis, David Alan Grier, Sara Gilbert, Ryan Hansen, and Sara Rodier.
The network cancelled Bad Teacher earlier this month but it looked like they’d let all of the remaining episodes air. Not so.
For the immediate future, they’re replacing Bad Teacher with reruns of The Millers, a Thursday night comedy that has been renewed for a second season.
There are eight unaired episodes of Bad Teacher remaining and CBS hasn’t announced any plans to make them available as yet.
Here’s a description of the sixth episode which had been scheduled for tomorrow night:

What do you think? Have you been watching Bad Teacher? Are you sorry to hear that it’s been pulled from the schedule?
Love this show so funny this is a real treat.
You people are sad….This show was the START of something good. But of course CBS is too impatient. You would think they would have learned from….Two and a half men!
Sorry to c. We enjoyed it but a bunch of ******** run the network so not surprised.
Very disappointing. This show was absolutely hilarious, and it’s ridiculous that CBS has chosen not to air the remaining eight episodes. This show was so much funnier than the movie. With incredible casting and witty writing, it’s a shame that CBS pulled the show so soon. Had CBS promoted the show more and actually given it a full-season to allow viewers to watch it, then they would have had a winner. Bad choice, CBS!
-from a Great Teacher
I am extremely disappointed that “Bad Teacher” was cancelled. However, I am EXTREMELY aggravated that the network appears to have no intentions of running the last episodes that have already been filmed. It seems to be an insult not just to the parties involved with the show, but also the viewers to deprive everyone of the remaining episodes. Especially if the time slot is going to be filled with reruns that will with out a doubt be run numerous times over the course of the summer.
On Thursday nights my channel will be tuned to another network.
man i am so mad because every show that i watch and i like is cancelled like the millers nbc, growing up fisher, serious stop canceling shows because nbc canceling shows are really getting me mad
How can you make a decent TV show from an already bad movie. The movie with Cameron Diaz was unwatchable and I like Cameron Diaz. Show never had a chance.
Thanks a lot CBS! Bad Teacher was better than a lot of the shows you air!
i kinda liked the show not that i expected for it to get renewed for anothor season but i would like them to air the finished episodes
agree, I enjoyed it but didn’t expect it to go for more than one season, sorry they dropped it half way through
A show that never should have aired in the first place.
Maybe CBS could replace Bad Teacher with a good show….
like The Mentalist!!!
dumbest show on the planet – gone is good.
GOOD!
