VH1 is shifting things around. This week, the network announced America’s Next Top Model is moving to Wednesday nights.
Season 23 of the model competition series, which is currently airing on VH1, is the first since Tyra Banks left as host and the show was cancelled by The CW. The revamped version is hosted by Rita Ora. The new judges include Ashley Graham, Drew Elliott, and Law Roach.
America’s Next Top Model will begin airing on Wednesday nights beginning tomorrow, February 1st, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
NEW YORK, NY (January 30, 2017) – VH1 today announced that “America’s Next Top Model” will move to Wednesday nights starting Wednesday, February 1st at 10:00PM ET/PT and continue to simulcast across both VH1 and MTV. “America’s Next Top Model” will follow “Black Ink Crew: New York,” which recently scored VH1’s highest rated Wednesday-night premiere in network history. Additionally, viewers will get a double dosage of ‘ANTM’ this week with an all-new episode airing tonight, Monday, January 30th at 10:00 PM ET/PT featuring a guest appearance by Jason Derulo. Then on Wednesday, February 1st at 10:00 PM ET/PT, the top 7 will participate in a fashion music video shoot featuring rapper French Montana and face a shocking twist.
This season of “America’s Next Top Model” is earning its best Live+SD viewership with P18-34, and P2+ in more than five years (since Cycle 17 through the same number of episodes) and averaging 1.5 million total viewers across VH1 and MTV.
Singer, actress and entrepreneur Rita Ora hosts the reinvented show with supermodel and body activist Ashley Graham, Paper Magazine Chief Creative Officer Drew Elliott and celebrity stylist and image architect Law Roach serving as panel of judges. Tyra Banks and Ken Mok continue as executive producers with Banks making surprise appearances throughout the season.
The remaining models include Binta Dibba (25, Seattle, WA), Cody Wells (26, San Jose, CA), CoryAnne Roberts (19, Bali, Indonesia), Courtney Nelson (25, San Francisco, CA), India Gants (20, Seattle, WA), Marissa Hopkins (18, Houston, TX), Paige Mobley (22, Birmingham, MI) and Tatiana Price (21, Brooklyn, NY).
The winner of “America’s Next Top Model” will receive $100,000 and a commercial feature on behalf of Rimmel London. Additionally, the winner will be featured in a fashion spread in Paper Magazine, along with an exclusive one year talent deal with VH1.
On tonight’s all-new episode at 10:00 PM ET/PT on VH1 and MTV, the models get a taste of the high life as they are invited to an exclusive party at luxury designer Philipp Plein’s estate in exchange for live modeling his latest couture collection amongst the fashion elite. Later, the ladies compete for the best couple shot as they’re are photographed living a luxurious lifestyle jet setting alongside singer Jason Derulo.”
