Charlie Sheen returns to sitcoms on FX’s Anger Management. Will he also return to big TV ratings? Revolving around an anger management therapist who has issues of his own (Sheen), the new TV show’s cast also includes Selma Blair, Shawnee Smith, Daniela Bobadilla, Michael Arden, Noureen DeWulf, and Derek Richardson.
The comedy’s ratings are the best way to tell if Anger Management will be cancelled or renewed for a second season. The first season typically airs Thursday nights on FX and there are 10 episodes.

Love this show!!! Who and why did someone deside to pull it? It’s great entertainment and very funny. Come on guys, bring it back!

This is a 90 episode pickup, not just a 2nd season. that’s the deal they made. if the ratings are good enough, they’re doing 90 more episodes without worrying about getting canceled. I’ve never seen something like that for a sitcom (Lost is the only show I remember getting a multi year deal)
EShy » Anger Management hasn’t been renewed yet. The plan was to run Lost for a certain numbers of episodes/seasons but it’s my understanding that it wasn’t actually given a multiple year renewal. There have been a couple shows that have been given huge episode orders. House of Payne comes to mind. It received a 100 eps order then a 46 eps order after that.
Good show. Great writing and acting. Strong characters. Would be a smash on other networks. Sheen needs structure and discipline and I think he shines best under a tight ship leadership. Seems to be working here
Don’t think they’ll cancel it. I believe it was a 100 ep. in a row (cheaper to make) he is signed for. Maybe a diff. day or back to back with Louie. The other 2 sitcoms suck.
Those numbers have dropped off a cliff. I hope they aren’t paying Charlie too much, or this thing will be cancelled.

This show sucks as hell! People who say this is better then Two and a Half Men are color blind, have no taste or simply are blind to the fact that 2,5 men season 9 was just as good for most of the time then the previous seasons.
