Bones may be ending, but what about a reunion? Recently, star David Boreanaz said he’s not interested in reviving the FOX TV series, Deadline reports.
The long-running crime drama premiered its 12th and final season earlier this month. The cast includes Boreanaz, Emily Deschanel, Michaela Conlin, T.J. Thyne, Eric Millegan, Tamara Taylor, Michaela Conlin, John Francis Daley, Patricia Belcher, and David Greenman.
During this week’s Television Critics Association press tour, Boreanaz said he doesn’t like reunions:
Everything is possible in life, but I tend to like to go forward. I don’t like reunions.”
Deschanel responded by saying that some time would have to pass before she’d consider a reunion:
I’d like some time before I consider that. We put 12 years into this show and that’s not nothing; it would be very emotional to say goodbye and then, next week, ‘OK, we’re coming back!’ It has to be a period of time.”
In the same interview, creator Hart Hanson revealed it was FOX who cancelled the series.

I would like to see a reunion that would lead to a spin-off show or continuation of the series with the taking over of the lab under the King of the Lab. I think it will add some fun to see how he runs things and the problems that come up with Bones.
I’d love to see a reunion, perhaps in a made-for-tv movie length. My favorite `character surprise’ would have to be a Penelope Garcia-style character (from Criminal Minds).
She could be a nerdy, kooky administrator, or a contract-hire to make the lab a little less intimidaditing and more warm and cosy.
She may even be a friend of Avalon’s who’s into feng siu.
I don’t think there should be a reunion. I don’t think the series should have ended at all. I’ve watched from the beginning and there are still plenty of story lines for them. I’m very disappointed that FOX cancelled the series.
We have watched Bones from the beginning and feel Bones still had some life left in it. There are stories left to be told. Too bad Fox doesn’t see what we saw. As far as a reunion goes, time needs to go by before this subject can be addressed. It’s too soon.
I have watched bones since the beginning Im sorry to see it end but I wouldn’t want to see a reunion. But I hope to see all Of them in other shows especially David I have been a fan of his since Buffy the vampire slayer
I do watch Bones, but like Emily said…some time has to pass.
