NBC has had a lot of success with Dick Wolf’s Chicago franchise these past few years. But what about the newest spinoff, Chicago Justice? Are you watching the TV series? Should it be cancelled or renewed? If renewed, would you watch season two?
The legal drama centers on Peter Stone (Philip Winchester), the dogged Deputy Chief of the Special Prosecutions Bureau, and follows the other prosecutors and investigators who make up the State’s Attorney’s team. The cast also includes Carl Weathers, Monica Barbaro, Joelle Carter, and Jon Seda.
Ratings haven’t been terrible for Chicago Justice, but they haven’t been great either. Overall, season one earned an average rating of 1.13 in the 18-49 demo and 6.20 million viewers. The numbers are decent for NBC, but they do make Chicago Justice the lowest-rated series in the Chicago franchise.
Still, chances are NBC will renew the show because the Chicago shows are successful as a whole brand.
What do you think? Have you seen Chicago Justice? Should it be cancelled or do you want a second season? Would you watch?
