TV show description:
Sidney Guilford (Mariel Hemingway) and Eli Levinson (Alan Rosenberg) are successful but workaholic divorce attorneys in upscale Manhattan. They handle a variety of cases, from the most bitter and messiest separations to divorces over the silliest of reasons.
After Eli has a nervous breakdown, attorney Charlie Howell (Peter Onorati) is brought on-board as a partner in the firm. Sparks begin to fly almost immediately between he and divorcee Sydney but, can a long-term relationship work in a place that’s built on divorce?
Meanwhile, the firm’s efficient legal secretary, Denise Iannello (Debi Mazar), dates delivery boy Jeffrey Lassick (David Marciano) who has an interesting secret.
When the ABC series ended after two seasons, Eli and Denise move to Los Angeles and join the firm of McKenzie, Brackman, Kelsey, Markowitz, and Martinez on NBC’s L.A. Law.
