Fluffy Breaks Even TV show on Fuse: canceled or renewed?

Fluffy is getting a makeover. This week, Fuse announced they’ve renewed the Gabriel Iglesias series Fluffy Breaks Even for a third season and renamed it Fluffy’s Food Adventures (working title).

The new season will center on “star comedian and actor Iglesias (known as ‘Fluffy’ to his millions of fans around the world), and feature his eccentric tour mates and fellow comedians Martin Moreno (Stuck), Rick Gutierrez (I’m Not Mad, I’m Just a Parent), Alfred Robles (The Fluffy Movie: Unity Through Laughter) and G Reilly (Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand-Up Revolution) as they bring their humor (and appetites) to Harlem, Washington, DC, Los Angeles, Atlanta, New Orleans and Nashville for a taste of the locals’ favorite spots.”

Alongside season three of Fluffy’s Food Adventures, Fuse will debut three new digital series, including Fluffy Off the Menu. The short-form series will see restaurant chefs teaching Iglesias how to cook items from their menus.

NEW YORK and LOS ANGELES – January 5, 2017 – Fuse (www.fuse.tv), a national television network for the fast-growing, Latino and multicultural 18-34 audience, today announced a multi-platform expansion of its relationship with Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias.  This includes the addition of three new digital series, along with the renewal of Iglesias’ hit Fuse TV original. Renamed and with a new format for its third season, the weekly original TV series, Fluffy’s Food Adventures  (working title, formerly Fluffy Breaks Even), will return to Fuse this summer.  In advance of the premiere, three short-form series exclusive to Fuse’s growing digital and social platforms will begin roll out, including Fluffy Off the Menu (working title).

“Fluffy cannot be contained on just one screen,” said Iglesias. “I can’t wait to unveil what Fuse and I are cooking up for the next season on TV and the new digital series!”

“We have big plans for Gabriel to expand his reach across platforms as we continue to grow our online and mobile presence,” said Michael Dugan, Vice President, Original Content for Fuse Media. “Our audience couldn’t get enough of Fluffy for the first two seasons of his series, and in 2017, there will be more opportunities than ever for fans to connect with one of the most talented comedians around.”

Season two of the series reached 4.5 million total viewers* with the season finale delivering the highest Hispanic audience composition (48.7 percent) of any general entertainment program during the week of May 23. 2016.**  The season featured celebrity guests ranging from NFL Coach of the Year Ron Rivera and actor Carlos Ponce to NASCAR driver Daniel Suarez.

The third season of Fluffy’s Food Adventures will star comedian and actor Iglesias (known as ‘Fluffy’ to his millions of fans around the world), and feature his eccentric tour mates and fellow comedians Martin Moreno (Stuck), Rick Gutierrez (I’mNot Mad, I’m Just a Parent), Alfred Robles (The Fluffy Movie: Unity Through Laughter) and G Reilly (Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand-Up Revolution) as they bring their humor (and appetites) to Harlem, Washington, DC, Los Angeles, Atlanta, New Orleans and Nashville for a taste of the locals’ favorite spots.

In Fluffy Off The Menu, chefs teach Fluffy how to cook an item off of his or her menu, including bacon wrapped bacon at BluJean in Harlem and crickets at Guelaguetza in Los Angeles. The additional two digital originals will incorporate fan engagement with Iglesias’ unique and humorous spin. All three are exclusive to Fuse’s digital platforms, with different versions being created for the network’s social channels.

Fluffy’s Food Adventures and Fluffy Off the Menu are produced by Iglesias (EP) and co-produced with B-17 Entertainment and Arsonhouse Entertainment.”

I Loved the first 2 Seasons. Fluffy Breaks Even was awesome. Season 3 was good but I preferred the breaks even part. It shows that eating good food can still happen but if you want to maintain your weight you need to work to break even. Season 3 is just like Diners, Drive-In and Dives with to much alcohol. Please Go Back to Fluffy Breaks Even!!
