It looks like Nick’s fights on Friday nights are far from over. NBC has renewed Grimm for a fifth season for 2015-16.
On Grimm, Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) continues to fight to keep humanity safe from the supernatural creatures of the world. Others in the cast include Russell Hornsby, Bitsie Tulloch, Silas Weir Mitchell, Sasha Roiz, Reggie Lee, Bree Turner, and Claire Coffee.
Grimm is down by 7-10% in the ratings so far this season; averaging a 1.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.99 million viewers. This season will see the fantasy crime drama reach the 88 episode mark, enough episodes for syndication. Next year it will likely reach 100 installments — quite an impressive feat for a genre series that airs on Friday nights on a major network.
What do you think? Do you like the Grimm TV show? Are you glad that it’s been renewed? How long should it continue?
LOVE IT!!!!!!! And I am a baby boomer and so like this show that it would be an absolute “crime” and shame to see it cancelled. It would show that the producers and ratings are ridiculous in that choice. Keep it going……..
Absolutely luv this show
Love the show! This season is the best so far! 🙂
Yep – we enjoy this series
never miss it nbc has a winner
I cannot believe I am so hooked on this show. I never watched T.V. and now I find myself very infatuated with this series.
It is so great that Grimm has been renewed for a fifth season. I’ve never missed an episode and the 4 so far this year have been the best yet. I love what Juliette is able to do these days. The show stays really fresh, while having an interesting and sometimes very unexpected storyline. The main characters have been developed so well which helps to weave all the episodes together and keeps me coming back for more. I’m hoping the syndication of previous seasons out now will help get others caught up on the past seasons and wanting more. I… Read more »
I really love the show hope the writing stays original. Hope trouble comes back.
I used to watch this show religiously every week, but about a year and a half ago, the show lost its appeal for me. Perhaps it was the shift away from the tales. So needless to say it’s no longer on my watch list.
Wonderful!!! So happy one of my shows isn’t being cancelled. Seems as if anything I enjoy is cancelled before it even gets a chance. Loved this from the beginning, in fact enjoying it again on TNT.
We are thrilled that GRIMM will continecon as it is our favorite show. Great story lines and outstanding cast.
I am happy, love this show!!!!!!
Awesome!!!!!!!
Excellent! NBC is awesome! Grimm has a strong storyline, with interesting characters. So glad that Nick got HIS GRIMM back. Looks like Juliette may be part of the crew & fight unless she gets the spell reversed. She may kickass with Adelaide’s dark side voguing. Getting interesting. Yes to a 5th Season.
I am a fan of this show. I think it offers some imaginative takes on the fantasy tales long shared by people and a clever twist on the grim trade mark for “fairy tales.” The way this show presents its stories is actually more in line with the originals by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm back in December 1812.
Glad to hear it has been extended!
