NBC is not grim about Grimm. While it hasn’t yet decided whether to cancel the Grimm TV series after season five or renew it for a season six, NBC’s Entertainment Chair, Robert Greenblatt, sounds more positive than negative about the fate of this fantasy police procedural drama.
Greenblatt spoke to The Oregonian‘s Kristi Turnquist during the TCA winter press tour. As quoted below, it sounds like the Peacock Network is more fond than not of this Friday night fright-fest. Brimming with Wesen-ality, Grimm stars: David Giuntoli, Russel Hornsby, Silas Weir Mitchell, Bree Turner, Silas Weir, Mitchell, Sasha Roiz, Claire Coffee, and yes, Bitsie Tulloch.

Will “Grimm” be renewed?: The ratings have been down so far in Season 5. When I asked NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt about the show’s future at the recent Television Critics Association Winter 2016 Press Tour, Greenblatt said, “We like ‘Grimm.’ It hasn’t been renewed yet, but it’s a show we love, and it’s actually a big international success for our company.” Greenblatt added, “I think ‘Grimm’ isn’t going anywhere. Which is a hedging sort of statement. We haven’t decided. But we like ‘Grimm.'”
Airing on Fridays, which is traditionally a low viewership night, especially for the advertiser-prized younger segment of viewers, “Grimm” picks up viewers via delayed viewing, Greenblatt said.
“I think the numbers have gone down a little bit because of that,” he said. “But there are some really great ideas for future shows. ‘Grimm”s OK.”
But as Greenblatt said, that’s not a confirmation of renewal, so we’ll have to wait and see.

I have watched Grimm from the first show, my Friday evening is planned around my TG(rimm)IF. I would be lost without it, and there are only a couple other shows I watch on NBC. Please RENEW for season 6 & more, it’s the best show on Friday night.
Grimm is my favorite show on tv. I always watch it on DVR though because I hate commercials so I can just fast forward through them. I imagine there are a lot of people just like me. Please don’t cancel it.
I think the Grimm series should be renewed for a sixth season. I’ve seen far too many great shows cancelled and it would truly be a shame to see this one go along with them. This is one of the best mystery series I’ve watched in years .

i agree with kala about juliette i never like her as well so was happy when out of it but now back in wth i like the idea of nick and adalide but dont cancel the show its a fantastic show i look forward to every week
Grimm my absolute favorite show I watch it Friday night while it is recording and then I rewatch it during the week. Their show should definitely be renewed
This is the best season ever. Did not like the ‘Juliette’ charactor. Before this season, I would DVR it and fast forward thru ‘Juliette’s’ parts. Never did see any chemistry between them and never lost any of the story by excluding her. I was so excited about a Grimm Season without that character and was thoroughly enjoying Season 5 until ‘Juliette’ came back. Still I love the show and will continue to watch it (probably DVR it so I can still fast foward).
Ive been watchin since Season 1. Its a great show! Please keep the cast and renew Grimm. interesting storyline as well. A lot of people Looooovvve Grimm!
