canceled + renewed TV shows - TV Series Finale

Grimm: Season Four Ratings

Published: May 18, 2015

Grimm TV show on NBC ratingsThe fourth season will bring NBC’s Grimm episode count to 88, enough for a decent-sized syndication package. Will this be the end of the Friday night series or will it keep going? Cancelled or renewed for a fifth season? Stay tuned.

On Grimm, Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) continues to fight to keep humanity safe from the supernatural creatures of the world. Others in the cast include Russell Hornsby, Bitsie Tulloch, Silas Weir Mitchell, Sasha Roiz, Reggie Lee, Bree Turner, and Claire Coffee.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

2/5 update: NBC has renewed Grimm for a fifth season for 2015-16. Details here.

Final season averages: 1.15 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.81 million total viewers.

Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.

For comparisons: The third season of Grimm averaged a 1.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 5.36 million total viewers.

Note: Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.

How are your shows doing in the ratings? Check the current rankings:
A&E | ABC | AMC | Bravo | CBS | CMT | The CW | FOX | Freeform | FX | FXX
Hallmark | HBO | History | MTV | NBC | OWN | Showtime | Starz | Syfy | TBS
TNT | TV Land | USA Network | WGN America

What do you think? Do you still like the Grimm TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a fifth season?

My husband and I plus many others of our family love this show. It is so different and we love the different plots and of course the characters. It is not overly violent like so many other shows out there and so many of our friends plus ourselves are so fed up with these “realistic” programs like Ice Truckers, Alligator hunting, Hunting for gold at sea, etc. We just get really interested in something that we like and Bingo the Network takes it off. Please keep it on as we all have been waiting for it all summer to come… Read more »

Innovative television shows are few and far in between. I wait for this each year, it’s entertaining and a good way to spend an hour away from the world.

grimm is a great show. but he needs to be a grimm another words he needs to start killing the bad ones. not putting them in jail.? they would eat the guards. so please make it real. your starting to look like a soap opera or boring ass cop show.

I love Grimm. It’s a one of a kind. Last season ended with a cliff hanger that appeared to be dynamite kick off for season Five.

My nephew, husband an I love Grimm! We would love to see a new season. It’s also a kinda child friendly show, not to scary for my nephew. He can’t get enough an neither can me or my husband. I think some people can’t get the point that a movie don’t have to be really R rated for you to actually enjoy it. It’s just the right level if everything.
Hope they continue the series!

Don’t cancel Grimm! Great special effects. To me, it’s the highpoint of Friday…waiting patiently for the new episodes. The storylines are remade into modern times.

I love Grimm. My family and I watches it every Friday night. Sometimes we record the show. If we don’t make it home on time. If you are going to cancel the show. At least , have a ending for the die hard fans of Grimm.

This fact has renewed my interest in the show. She was a worthless character. Serving only to be a whiny nag the _entire_ time! The last few episodes of season 4 illustrated this perfectly. She knew there would be unknown side-effects. He stated that he didn’t want to put her through further potential trouble and she _still_ agreed. Yet the entirety of the season 4 close is mostly her being an obnoxious angsty asshat blaming everyone else. She lasted 3.5 seasons too long! I am disheartened that she may not actually be dead though. The season 5 premiere smacks that… Read more »

Grimm is a family favorite. We love the plot twists. I hope we get at least two more seasons of it. All things must end I know, but I will feel sad as I did when “24” ended. To top it off, my other favorite “Forever” has been cancelled and that is a real shame. Loved the storyline AND the actors/characters.

Grimm is one of my favorite shows . if I can’t watch it for some reason I have it set to record the whole seasons actually , all episodes from all past seasons. If I’m that dedicated I’m sure there are millions more, like me so please don’t cancelled it. Not every show can be NCIS. But you need variety or things are just going to get boring supernatural shows are necessary. Get rid of those and you loose alot of watchers. People like shoes like Grimm, and supernatural and I’m sure the ratings are taking into account alot of… Read more »
