The ratings for Masters of Sex saw a big drop in season two. Will they keep falling in season three or will they rise? Will Showtime cancel the series or renew it for a fourth season? We’ll have to wait and see.
Masters of Sex follows the unusual lives of William Masters (Michael Sheen) and Virginia Johnson (Lizzy Caplan), researchers whose work touched off the sexual revolution. Others in the cast include Caitlin FitzGerald, Teddy Sears, Annaleigh Ashford, Beau Bridges, Allison Janney, and Julianne Nicholson.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

One of the best shows on tv. Well written and acted. Runs through all human emotions.
Great actors in this series. Everyone really fits their part.
I enjoy the series but lately it has been a little blah…..
They need to inject more into the series’ storyline because the relationship between Masters & Johnson is not going to be enough to hold people’s interest-even if they are the topic of the series.
Since it got renewed I am hoping that will be the case. In the meantime, I will be patient and watch as this season plays out.

I love the show. It is a great show. well written, acted and produced. All and it’s an awesome show to watch. Seasons are and few in between.
I like the show. Apparently not everyone likes it as much as I do. Oh well, the show is for adults that have a minimum number of sexual hang ups. I was just a kid when the book came out. I was in 7th grade when I got my hands on a copy. I read that book for the critical information I was going to need as an adult. It worked, I wish it would have dealt a little more with info on the”mind” of the opposite sex not just the corporeal aspect of relationships. Oh well I found out… Read more »
