The Mist now has the director set for its premiere episode. The series, which will arrive on Spike TV in 2017, is based on a Stephen King novella. The novella has already been turned into a movie, and now the story will have a 10-episode run on the cable network.
Production will start on the series this summer, and Adam Bernstein will direct the first episode. According to Deadline, the series will tell the story of “innocuous mist that seeps into a small town and creates immense havoc.”
A release date has not yet been set for this series. CBS had success with Under the Dome. Could Spike TV see the same with The Mist? Tell us what you think.
