Despite relatively low ratings, TBS renewed its People of Earth TV show for a second season. Will their faith in this quirky comedy pay off? Can it build up its audience this time out? Will People of Earth be cancelled or renewed for season three? Stay tuned.
A TBS sitcom, People of Earth stars Wyatt Cenac, Ana Gasteyer, Oscar Nuñez, Michael Cassidy, Alice Wetterlund, Luka Jones, Brian Huskey, Nancy Lenehan, Tracee Chimo, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Björn Gustafsson, and Ken Hall. The story centers on journalist Ozzie Graham (Cenac) who came to town to investigates supposed alien encounters. He is soon drawn into an eclectic group of misfits as he finds himself identifying with their experiences. Nasim Pedrad joins season two, as special Agent Alex Foster, an FBI investigator who is getting a second chance after a recent setback. Alex arrives in Beacon to search for newspaper owner Jonathan Walsh (Cassidy), who is wanted for white-collar crimes. **Status update below.

I’m so bummed that People of Earth was not renewed for the 3rd season!!!! I had been waiting patiently for it. This is a clever & very funny show! Maybe Netflix will take it over!! We can only hope. With season 3 already written someone needs to take this show! F ratings! How realistic are they anyway!? They weren’t in my living room!

Love People of Earth, this delightful, unique, inventive show. I kept checking my cable guide every few days to find out when Season 3 would begin. Very sad, and angry, to learn that some Greedy Gus w/ not much sense at TBS pulled the rug out at the last minute. Hoping they, or another cable channel (SF? AMC? HBO?), will pick it up. The entire season is ALREADY written. So film it, and broadcast it, and make millions of people happy! Please. PLEASE, – KEEP THIS SHOW ON ! Not only does this sitcom take a unique perspective on the ‘alien thing’, but it does deliver on laughs, surprises, and numerous new faces mixed with some we know. I think it’s cute, hopeful, and seems to show growth in the characters.
I noticed that since the last episode I’ve seen, I’ve been experiencing withdrawals due to the lack of my weekly dosage of “People Of Earth”, . . . So please end my suffering and deliver !

So original, funny and interesting! Not a cookie cutter show. It’s a quirky, funny, odd show that just entertains for the sake of entertaining. Love it, please don’t cancel this show…..air it and they will come! Hehe
This is a funny, unique series. Hopefully, it will develop a cult following
The show makes me laugh every episode I have to say I was a little disappointed in the second season of wrecked but right there with the guest book people of Earth is hilarious and better than any sitcom going on any other station
Me too ! . . . and I know what you mean about the 2nd season of “Wrecked”. It kind of wandered off the tracks .
I also think it is great! Season two is getting better each episode. With only four episodes left I hope it gets a season three!
