Though The Good Wife hasn’t been officially renewed yet, it seems like all but a sure thing. Deadline reports that London-based actress Cush Jumbo, who recently starred on Broadway opposite Hugh Jackman, is being signed to have a recurring role on the seventh season of The Good Wife. This will mark Jumbo’s US television debut.
It was announced in October that Archie Panjabi is leaving the series at the send of year six so Jumbo could be joining the cast as a new investigator.
Season-to-season, Good Wife is currently averaging a 1.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 9.87 million viewers. That’s down by about 13% in the demo but up by 5% in total viewers. The series has never been one of the network’s best-performing shows but it does have a devout following and has attracted critical attention and awards.

And this young lady, Cash, may have stage experience with a famous celeb, but according to I MDB she’d been in exactly one tv show, playing a clerk, The InBetweeners, 2011. doesn’t seem promising. Was she maybe voted BAFTA rising star somewhere along the way? What else does anyone know about her?
Read that my favorite actress on the show, Archie Panjani, got a new gig, she’ll be the lead, and her contract was up anyhow…but if that new show is not good somehow or gets cancelled like so many others do, I will never watch The Good Wife again, much as I love it. Execs should have fought harder to keep this fascinating character actress, she’s worth millions to her fans, both sides of the Atlantic.
It is a great show and deserves at least 5 more seasons.
I love The Good Wife, never miss an episode, even watch it live not recorded, suffering through commercials!!!!!! Will miss Archie Panjabi thought she might be leaving the show, just the way the storyline was going. She is a Terrific Actress, wish her well with future endeavors!!!!!! Please Renew The Good Wife Best Ensemble Cast currently on TV!!!!!!

I had no idea that Kalinda was leaving! I wonder if the story line about Geneva Pine coming after Kalinda is a way for Archie Panjabi to leave the show….? I wonder if Pine’s actions will have Kalinda arrested or forced into hiding.

By far my favorite show since season 2. If you’ve noticed, Kalinda & Alicia have not shared a scene together in a couple of seasons (I read they don’t get along???). I knew contracts were up after this season; I figure Bishop will kill Kalinda before the season’s end.
I guess I have not noticed that Kalinda & Alicia have not been in a few scenes. (I must have missed it while being wrapped up in everyone else.)
I started watching last night but was interrupted when Bishop was questioning Kalinda about a download in his office.
I am just glad that Alicia is out of her public office seat. (I forgot whether it was the Senate or State Attorney.) Anyway, it looks as though things are heating up again…just in time for a season cliffhanger.
Oh my! If Archie leaves, I can’t imagine watching The Good Wife any longer! It was hard enough getting interested after Will’s death! But Kalinda’s character is done so well by Archie! She really makes the show!!!

Some people wrote they loved the show, I provided my opinion that I never found it that interesting to watch. This board is not limted to only glowing reviews.
