the mentalist past TV show

TV show description:
Patrick Jane (Simon Baker), a consultant with the California Bureau of Investigation (CBI), pays attention to the details. As he stands at a crime scene, he shifts his gaze over the particulars that others often miss and mentally sorts through the information. His surveillance skills have repeatedly helped the CBI solve serious crimes.

He’s well known within the organization for his observation skills, as well as his past scam work when he pretended to be a psychic medium. What his fellow agents don’t know is that Patrick’s intense dedication to solving crimes stems from the losses he’s suffered in his personal life.

Patrick’s crime-solving methods are unconventional to be sure and Senior Agent Teresa Lisbon (Robin Tunney) is opposed to him joining her unit. It’s not always easy for her to admit when Patrick is right but she’s always quick to criticize when he crosses the line.

The other members of her team include Kimball Cho (Tim Kang), Wayne Rigsby (Owain Yeoman), and rookie Grace Van Pelt (Amanda Righetti). They’re all united in their opinion of Patrick. While he is reckless, Patrick is both dedicated and skilled at solving cases. The proof is in the details.

Series Finale:
Episode #151 — White Orchids
Lisbon and Jane decide to get married but a killer named Lazarus is bent on revenge and tries to take their happy ending. He’s ultimately arrested and the lovebirds get to enjoy their special day with friends and family in attendance.
First aired: February 18, 2015.

Please don’t end this show. After tonight’s finale I can see a lot of ways to continue to keep this show interesting and exciting! Please consider another season!

I really enjoy the mentalist especially since he went with the FBI and the relationship with Lisbon. It makes me sad that CBS is letting the show go. There’s too few shows that make me smile while I watch them.

So sad! I have been a loyal watcher of The Mentalist since it began! I still love the show, and was drawn in with the new sereal killer thrown in to the mix of cases this week. I always watch the trailer for the next week’s show to hear that it would be the last show! I was shocked! It is one of my favorite shows! I don’t get it CBS. Do the actors want out? Pay them what they want. Please keep it going. Maybe another network could pick it up! Just another CBS mistake! Very disappointed!!!

Why cancel now?? This is the best and most entertaining it’s been for a long time. They had the stupid Red John go on way too long and it ruined the show. Now it’s much better. You need to renew NOW!!

Why would you cancel the Mentalist? It is such a good show, I hope it will be
continued. You can enjoy the show without a lot of gruesome stuff like Criminal Minds, etc. Thank you, Shirley Estok

This is one of the best seasons yet. We were tired of the “RED JOHN” that went on too long. It has to be economical to keep it going, which the ratings are strong.

I agree with MJT (December 29, 2014), where he/she says that “It’s what they (CBS) do, is to put on a good show, then they get you to liking it, and then, just when you are really getting into liking the show and liking the people in it they take it away from us”! 🙁 🙁 Other “GOOD” examples of this are Extreme Make Over, Home Addition! Why was “THIS” show cancelled?? Uhmmm, maybe because TOO MANY “PEOPLE” such as myself loved this weekly series! I do not know about any of you all but, WTH (WHAT the hell) ever… Read more »

please let the mentalist remain on the air. the sports programs have interfered with my enjoyment of this great show. perhaps that is the reason the ratings have been off. often times, when i have tried to find my show, it can not be found because of the football games. please reconsider and bring the show back for the next season. thank you for your consideration.

The Mentalist is one of the best shows on TV. Whoever is making the decision to not continue this show seriously needs their head examined. The only reason there was a drop in the ratings is because the powers that be put it up againstThe Walking Dead. Schedule it on another time slot & I would guarantee the ratings would be high again!!
