You canceled FOREVER? And REVENGE? And THE TASTE? GOODBYE ABC…. the only thing I’ll watch on your channel now is THE MIDDLE! That’s the only thing left.

What a stupid group you must have in charge of what’s good & what’s not even close to good viewing. Are they all in that “desired age group?” Under 50? Sure they are.

I watch forever. It is one of the best shows that I have seen in a long time. Please don’t cancel the show. I love the suspense every time I watch it.

ABC’s “Forever” an awesome show and it should be renew. After watching “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” with the kids, I turn to the “Forever” show, great stories and the cast is great.

“Forever” should not be canceled. Henry is definitely the most interesting new character this season. And I like the twists and turns of his and JO’s lives. judging by the last episode I was wondering is this coming back. The true fans of the how want to know what will happen. Don’t make a mistake and cancel this. One of the best shows on ABC. I actually only watch about 4 others an one is a soap. Also the shows against “Forever” really are not great shows.

I really like Izombie and Forever and I hope that they don’t cancel these shows. I think they are better than NCIS on alomost any day of the week.

18-49 demo means viewers in the age range of 18 to 49. Demo means demographic, which in this case means a type of people who have certain characteristics. It’s used in market research & other kinds of research like political (electoral, opinion, etc). I think 18-49 is the largest TV watching demo, or mainly the demo that spends the most money on products sponsors advertise. If reality TV shows get renewed for many seasons while more critically acclaimed shows are dropped, this tells you something about what market researchers think is selling the most of sponsors products, largely influenced by… Read more »

Forever and Weird Loners should get canceled. Person of Interest should get renewed and if it does, it should get a proper “final season”.

Person of Interest is my favourite show, and I pray that it is renewed. I also really like Forever, and want to see that get renewed. Weird Loners can go…blah.

i love Person of Interest too, have been watching it since the beginning, i like the quirky and heroic characters, they are great super heroes, i like how the good guys always win, against insurmountable odds, it’s very satisfying to watch each episode for that reason. i really do like the characters, and will be sad if the show is discontinued. i hope it will keep going. Even though the broad plot line is repetitious, good guy fights good fight, wins, the way each episode is played out has plenty of variation and surprises. The characters develop over time. The 18-49 demographic is the group of people that advertisers are typically most interested in reaching. Because of this, the networks often use this number as a measure of a show’s success. A ratings point is equal to 1% of all of the US TV viewers in that demo. It’s estimated that about there are about 127 million people in that demo in the US right now. So, one ratings point equals 1.27 million people. The demo change refers to the % of change (up or down) when compared to the last original episode. What’s really most important is how… Read more »

why would a bigger network like CBS cancel a “hit?” By hit, do you mean a popular show? If that’s what you mean, then wouldn’t they want to keep a hit going and not cancel?

Successful shows on CBS get much bigger ratings than most on the CW.

thanks for the reply, i’m still not sure i understand (i’m new to paying attention to ratings and choices to renew or cancel shows). I know CBS is a very big network and has lots of popular prime time shows. I’m not even sure what CW is. But when you say CBS or other bigger networks cancel hits, what do you mean by ‘hit?’ Do you mean it could be a very popular show but is cancelled because the shows on other networks are even more popular (where ‘more popular’ means higher ratings)? In other words, a show would be… Read more »
