It may be a kinda late but the CW network is finally showing a little love to the fans of the ill-fated dramady, Valentine.
Valentine is a quirky drama that follows a group of mythological gods whose continued existence depends on their helping mortals to find true love. It stars Christine Lakin, Autumn Reeser, Robert Baker, Kristoffer Polaha, Greg Ellis, Jaime Murray, and Patrick Fabian.
The series debuted on October 5, 2008 as part of Media Rights Capital’s deal with the CW network to lease the network’s Sunday night timeslots.
The premiere of Valentine attracted just 1.1 million viewers and a 0.3/1 rating/share among adults 18-49. To put the numbers in perspective, CW’s little-watched Life is Wild drew 50% more viewers one year earlier.

The ratings for subsequent episodes were even worse and it wasn’t long before production of the show was shut down. The series was then cancelled amidst reports that MRC was going through financial troubles.
Four of the eight produced episodes of Valentine had aired by the time it was pulled from the schedule. It looked highly unlikely that we’d ever see the final installments but now, the CW has quietly slipped them back onto the Sunday night schedule. Episode five airs tonight and “God Only Knows,” the series finale, is set to run on July 19th.
So, is Kate the one that is killing the gods? Is she really up to no good as the oracle has suggested? Will the last episode of Valentine offer any sense of closure for the short-lived dramady? Looks like we’ll have to tune in to find out.

Bring the show back !!! it was amazing, I just re-watched it and I can’t believe there has been no more episodes, please bring it back, there is so much stupidity in today’s shows, this is really interesting, Greek Mythology and love it’s unique and fantastic, u should definitely bring it back.
I’ve been searching for this show for what seemed like years after only watching one episode. I only just found it, and am so, so disappointed that it ended on a cliff hanger! What happened to Ari? Did he die? Did Phoebe and Leo begin a relationship? Does Jezabel, or the Goddess Bastet, get away with what she did? What about Kate and Danny? Did they get to explore their newfound passion? I managed to pick up a few lyrics but they weren’t enough!!
Please its a shame just to cancel a great show like Valentine I love it and I’m 16 not only adults love the series. And if that was the finale it was awful. I bet a lot of people want to find out the whole story.

I’m sick of all the interesting and entertaining shows being cancelled and brought back with these so-called series finale episodes they leave u wanting more. I can’t believe that networks even call these series finale, yet reality tv shows are taking over. If i wanted reality to watch i’d go outside. I want to watch a show set up in a place full of secrets, twists, and drama. I believe that if networks keep cancelling shows the way they are that they should be held responsible for the shows success. There were supposed to be about 13 episodes, at least 5 are missing. “God Only Knows” was not the finale, just the last one we get to see….I think.
The news is that there were supposed to be another 5 episodes after what they’re now calling the “finale”. I definitely agree this was the worst ending for a series finale…would never have thought I’d find another good show that was cancelled almost the same time as it first aired. Found a boxed collection of “Moonlight”…said it had the complete series…LOL…one season. Just getting tired of all the good shows getting cancelled while so-called “reality” shows not only get renewed, but added to (Bachelor for plus-sized women!). I love Valentine!! It is very smart and different. Bring it back!! Why do all the networks cancel the cool fun shows and add more reality ones? Cupid, Eleventh Hour, maybe Merlin, Samantha Who, just to name a few. ENOUGH WITH THE REALITY SHOWS.
