CBS has released information about the next episode of Vegas, the first installment to air on Friday nights. Starring Dennis Quaid and Michael Chiklis, the TV show has been struggling on Tuesday nights and was very likely headed for cancellation.
Since the audience skews older, the network has decided to see how it will perform paired with Blue Bloods. This may end up being the show’s best chance of survival. Now we get to see if people will actually tune in on April 5th.
There are six new episodes left for Vegas to prove itself worthy of a second season.
SHERIFF LAMB AND FBI AGENT BYRNE BUTT HEADS WHEN BYRNE PREVENTS LAMB FROM PRESSING CHARGES AGAINST A PIMP IN ORDER TO GET INFO ON SAVINO INSTEAD, ON “VEGAS,” ON A NEW DAY AND TIME, FRIDAY, APRIL 5
“Little Fish” – Sheriff Lamb and FBI Agent Byrne butt heads when Byrne prevents Lamb from pressing charges against a pimp in order to get info on Savino instead. Also, Dixon falls hard for Hollywood starlet Viola (guest star Anna Camp), and Tommy and Dixon discover that Yvonne has a chance at becoming a professional singer, on VEGAS, on a new day and time, Friday, April 5 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

What do you think? Will you be tuning in to watch Vegas on Friday nights? Should the series be renewed for a second season?
Yes, I think it is definitely worth another season.
Please do not cancel Vegas. It is the one of the few original drams on TV.
Don’t need another forensic show or routine police procedural drama.
Vegas is engaging enough to warrant another season, and possibly more. The characters are well-defined. The background is realistic enough to bring back memories of actually having been there. The weekly and on-going plot lines are well-written and keep the viewer involved and eager for more. A new series takes more than one season to develop a core audience. Give it a chance. Thanks
My wife and I will very disappointed if this show is cancelled!!!
Keep it, its awesome. .Don’t Cancel!!!!
vegas is a great show..it’s a throwback to 77 sunset strip and surfside six and hawaiian eye…and all those other warner bros detective /hipster shows of the late 50s…please not another lawn order/ncsi/ criminal minds cop show set in newyorkangeles with the same street subbing for all the shows…hurray for dennis quaid and michael chicklis putting out something different…even half a western is refreshing to see again…bring back maverick..
Vegas is one of the few shows I look forward to seeing no matter what night they are on. It has a great cast. Can’t believe it was having a hard time on Tuesday nights. Will be there on in April to see it again. Really mis the show.
best show i have seen in a long time, well written scripts, just all around great show.plus like th e old cars,ya’ll say the time frame is 1960 ,but do see a lot of 61-65 model cars cars, but who cares ,the show is great dont lose it thanks
This show is great! If CBS takes this show off they should not be #1 any longer as you profess. The show has everything in it that makes a series fun to follow. Glad the mystery of CBS just pulling the show from its’ timeslot to put on just another cop show (Golden boy is no comparison toVEGAS) is solved
please do not cancel this show. Enjoy so much!
Glad to see Vegas is being a new life. Really enjoyed the program
VEGAS IS GOOD—PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL—BRING IT BACK!!!
Do not cancell vegas I am so sick of reality shows vegas blue bloods, ncis, r great shows. U forget it is older perple that watch tv, young people go out. 50 years and older love shows like vegas.
AHHHH, please do not cancel Vegas!! This is a fantastic show…. People just need to give it a chance. Sit down and watch the show!!! Great actors and story lines…… I love this show!! And whenever I get started on a new show it seems it gets cancelled….. Grrrrrrr. So I am a faithful viewer and can hardly wait for it to return!!!
I agree please do not cancel love the show
Finally a good progam well written and you want to cancel it. If you move them around all the time so people don’t know where they are how are they to watch? We were wondering were it was, put on another show that is pretty dump I think and take off a well written one, doesn’t make sense to us but who are we just the people who watch the programs. Can’t wait for it to return and find out what is going to happen next.
I enjoy watching Vegas so please don’t cancel it. Having it on prior to Blue bloods is no problem for me especially if it helps keep it on TV
