ABC’s Nashville (renewed) doesn’t have to win its time slot and can even come in ranked at #72 among all network shows of entire weeks or entire seasons. What it has is music, including support from the Opry, a tie-in with both the Bluebird Café and the exclusive Target CDs, now in their third season of releases, its great creator, screenwriter and executive producer, Callie Khoury, who previously won the Oscar for “Thelma and Louise” and just happens to be married to T-Bone Burnett, and the great executive music producer and Americana star, Buddy Miller.
